Like the summer rains –
She came into my life
Soothing my broken soul
Giving hope of a rainbow.
But no rainbow lasts forever –
Nor it leaves the treasure where it ends
She disappeared breaking my soul again
But this time it can never be whole,
For she took with her a piece –
As she faded away from my life.
