By the Salt hill prom

As the winds rumble and bring in the dark clouds,
The light drizzle grace upon my naked skin,
And the seagulls croon by the shore afar,
The memories of distant past rush in like yesterday.
The moments we spent on the rocks by the salt hill prom
Your laughter, smell and the way your eyes shimmered
They are still green and blue like nature’s lap
Still afresh though years have passed
I realise, some are there to stay.
Though years have passed,
Some are there to stay…
